Expendables Film Review- By: Chris Kickzme

Description : Lionsgate Movies recently came out with a star-studded hardcore action movie entitled " The Expendables" into theaters a couple months ago. I just checked it out,and I feel it certainly delivered in the action/explosion department.

They truly came out with all guns a blazing in this one. It features: Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Eric Roberts, Randy Couture, Steve Austin, David Zayas, Giselle Itie, Charisma Carpenter, Gary Daniels, Terry Crews, and Mickey Rourke.

"The Expendables" revolved around a man named Barney Ross and his all-star collection of trained, certified warriors. They take on an overseas assignment that ends up going wrong as they ascertain the details they were provided with wasn't fully upfront and authentic.

They eventually commit to bail on the task . However, after an ex-team member attacks them, and Barney's sympathy for a woman they left behind over there takes over, they make the decision to go back and just basically destroy the total place, the evil men operating it,and protect the beautiful foreign lady.

The film showed a big action fight between Gunner and Ying Yang (Jet Li) , a pile of men getting shot in an all out gun battle,a major altercation with former WWE wrestler Stone Cold Steve Austin who portrayed character Paine, and more. The flick finished with a major banging finale that involved an abundance of explosions, combating, and more shootouts. It just presented true, down and dirty action in its rawest form.

I think the flick was profoundly entertaining. It didn't use the most unique plot, but it was enough for me. There was never a dull moment as it moved along at a pretty swift pace, and it also had a bit of humor as well. Sylvester Stallone did a good job,and still looked to be in marvelous physical condition.
